Dear members,

We have upgraded several components of the website, including but not limited to the portal, forums, arcade. In addition, we are also delighted to announce embedding of streaming clips from google, youtube is available now!

To use, simply place the clip id within the tags. For example:

If you like to embed a video from YouTube at <a href="http://www.youtube.com/v/abcdefghijk&rel=0" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/v/abcdefghijk&rel=0</a>

Use:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=abcdefghijk

Note that 425,350 are the width and height of the video window. Leave them as default.

Similarly for Google:

<a href="http://video.google.com/googleplayer.swf?docId=1234567891234567890" target="_blank">http://video.google.com/googleplayer.swf?docId=1234567891234567890</a>

Use:

[gv=475,325]1234567891234567890[/gv]

Note that 475,325 are the width and height of the video window. Leave them as default.

As for windows media, real and quicktime clips with the following tags:

[quick=475,325]http://url_to_quicktime_clip[/quick]

You would need to provide the full url to the clips within the tags.

These would add great convenience to viewing clips as inline instead of having multiple browser tabs/windows.
